Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.

It was a was Friday. The one-week school break was just about to begin. All the children were excited. Timmy met his best friends at the school canteen.

HI, Timmy! We are going for a swim. Would you like to join us?” asked Benny. Timmy did not know how to swim, but he did not want to tell his friends.

“I have to rush home today. My mother needs me to run some shopping with her and I will not be free till about four in the afternoon,” said Timmy.

“That’s fine with us. We were planning to go at that time too. We’ll meet you at your void deck at five o’clock then, “said Hans.

Timmy realized he had no way out and told his friends the truth. He expected them to laugh at him. Instead, they said that they would teach him how to swim. Timmy was proud to have them as his best friends.
