The sun efficiently warms the water in rivers and oceans. This causes the water to evaporate quickly, forming water vapour. This goes (1)     the air and becomes a cloud.

(2) the warm season, clouds get so full of water that rain starts to fall. The rain falls heavily (3) the land, and runs into streams and rivers. (4) there, it finally goes into the ocean.

Some of the rain is absorbed directly (5) (f|1} the ground. Plants drink this water. If the water gets deep enough into the ground, it is called groundwater and it goes into people’s wells.

The water is streams, rivers and oceans gets heated by the sun when the weather is warm and the whole process is repeated. This is the water cycle.
